Background: We have just finished with the ABC and the students were asked to combine letters into words. this class included students from the 6th grade, each 6 grader worked with two 3rd grade students.

Each 6th grader got 5 words – basic and familiar to the 3rd grades. The 6th grader says a word for the card clearly as he can and the 3rd graders need to recognize the letters in the word and create the words with things that they have in our yard, such as rocks, leaves, olives, mud… |
